Tasha has had several family members with mental health issues ranging from Schizophrenia to Dementia to Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). As a young carer, Tasha felt isolated, and that no-one understood what she was experiencing, she didn't tell many people, and so was not recognised or supported in her role. Tasha feels that no-one should have to feel this way and so, soon started putting her experience to good use, she has now worked in the mental health field for eleven years, and has worked in a variety of setting from supported housing schemes to inpatient wards, specialising in adolescent mental health within the voluntary sector. Natasha is also a qualified IMHA (Independent Mental Health Advocate).

Since 2008 John has been Chief Executive of Taunton Association for the Homeless, Somerset's leading specialist provider of services to the single homeless.
